The Friends of Lingwood Primary Academy are a fantastic team of parents who work tirelessly to hold a range of fundraising events throughout the year.

The money raised is then used on resources to support the teaching and learning in our school.

Who we are and what we do:

Friends of Lingwood Primary Academy (FOLPA) is a committee of parents and carers dedicated to enriching the school experience for every child at Lingwood Primary Academy.

Our shared aim is to raise funds that support the school and enhance pupils’ education, wellbeing, and everyday experiences. Through a variety of fun, family-focused events, including discos, film nights and school fetes, we are able to provide valuable extras that benefit all children. These contributions have helped fund transport for educational visits, leavers’ books, special events, and many other opportunities that may not otherwise be available.

Every parent or carer with a child attending Lingwood Primary Academy is automatically a member of FOLPA and by working together we can make a meaningful and lasting difference to the children’s school journey.

How can you get involved?

You’re welcome to join the FOLPA organising committee, and you can give as much or as little time as you’re able — every contribution makes a difference!
