Our Year 6 children are taught by Miss Colely.
Year 6 have an exciting year ahead. They take on many responsibilities across the school. The children are busy writing their letters of application to be voted head boy or head girl.
The topic this term is ‘Crime and Punishment’. The Year 6 children started the term walking into a fake crime scene. This exciting classroom feature set the scene and tone for their autumn term topic Crime and Punishment. The crime scene prompted lots of discussion and enquiry based questioning to start the year.
This term the year 6 science topic is Electricity, the children have done lots of work around staying safe around electricity; looking at how to draw simple and complex circuits, building real life circuits and experimenting with objects and materials to determine makes good conductors and insulators.
