Year 5 – Egyptian Exhibition

March 23, 2022 By caroline

A lovely end to the day on Wednesday 23rd March, welcoming our Year 5 parents to join in the Year 5 Egyptian Exhibition. The children have really enjoyed learning about Ancient Egyptians this term and have produced some high quality pieces of work including art and extended pieces of writing. We are very proud of their attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Well done and thank you to all the parents joining today.

Year 4 Violin Festival

March 17, 2022 By caroline

We could not be more proud of our Year 4 children this term. Since September the Year 4 children have been learning to play the violin every Thursday. On Thursday 17th March they attended a music event along with 4 other schools at St Andrew’s Hall showcasing everything they have learnt. It is incredible the progress they have made and how confidently they played achieving a highly commended certificate.  They also performed to our Year 5 class (who learnt violin last year). Year 5 were very impressed and enjoyed being part of Year 4’s first audience in school. We are now looking forward to an end of year performance in school to show how they continue to develop their violin skills. Well Done Year 4 – Otters.

Norfolk County Council Trading Standards – Scam Alert
The Department of Education are warning that parents and carers are being targeted by scammers.

Fraudsters are targeting families, emailing parents and carers with messages such as “if your child is entitled to Free School Meals send your bank details to the school and they will help with funding while the school is closed.”

The email contains links for parents to follow if they want to reserve the funding. These links are fake. This is a scam.
