Admissions Policy
The Reception admissions are handled centrally by Norfolk County Council and you will need to complete and return your admission form (usually by the end of January) detailing your school preferences.
Admission forms for reception and other year groups are available at the school, please feel free to pop in and pick one up and book an appointment for a tour of the school.
If you are offered a place at the school, our Pastoral Manager and Class Teacher will work with you and your child to ensure a smooth transition to Lingwood Primary and make sure your child settles into their class as quickly as possible.
If you have any concerns about how they will cope, or feel they are not settling in as quickly as you would have expected, please do talk to The Pastoral Manger so she can discuss this with the teachers and work out a programme of additional support for your child.
We have adopted the Local Authority Admissions Policy: Norfolk County Council admissions department arrange the allocation of spaces within Schools.
All information regarding arrangements for selection, over subscription criteria and the application process is available on their website.
