STEAM Project – Jurassic Park – WC 25th June 2018
The children have enjoyed a creative week immersed in a dinosaur zoo project where they’ve had to research dinosaur species, write persuasive letters to leading scientists, investigate area and perimeter, choose dinosaurs to populate the park, plan out the park layout accurately, design souvenir t-shirts and park maps and record radio advertisements for their park designs. Busy week!

They had a chance to make Egyptian jewellery and to learn about everyday life in Egyptian times, before studying an array of artefacts and considering what information they could get from them. Finally, they learnt more about the gruesome art of mummification.
Spring Term – Bushcrafters Sessions
Year 3 (and Year 4) are currently taking part in a series of outdoor learning sessions through “Bushcrafters”. The first lesson involved trying to use sticks and paracord to create tripods, and also exploring our outdoor environment.
